Wynnum-Manly Community Health Centre, Gundu Pa has been officially unveiled and will open to the public from Tuesday, 24 October 2017.
PLEASE NOTE: All outpatient services at Wynnum Health Service on Whites Road, Lota will operate as normal until close of business on Friday, 20 October. If you have an appointment on or before 20 October, please attend Wynnum Health Service as usual.
The Primary Care Centre at Wynnum Health Service will be open until 10pm on Monday, 23 October.
The new Wynnum-Manly Community Health Centre, Gundu Pa, will provide a significant boost to local health services and access to round-the-clock health care. It will also deliver what the community asked for – health services retained and expanded in the local area.
Services available in the new health will include:
The 24-hour Primary Care Centre is your health care back up when you have a minor injury or illness and you cannot get an appointment with your regular GP – for example, in the night if your GP does not offer an after-hours service.
Please note: the Primary Care Centre is not an Emergency Department. In a medical emergency dial Triple Zero (000).
The new Primary Care Centre opens from 7am on Tuesday, 24 October 2017.
The Allied Health services at Wynnum-Manly Community Health Centre will make use of the centre’s purpose-built gyms and well equipped consulting and therapy rooms.
