Pastoral Care
at Princess Alexandra Hospital
Princess Alexandra Hospital's pastoral care team provides spiritual and religious support to patients and their families while they are in hospital, as well as for the hospital staff.
We provide a 24-hour on-call service. You can contact the hospital switchboard on (07) 3176 2111, or ask our ward staff to arrange a visit for you.
Worship centre
You and your visitors are welcome to come into the worship centre near the main foyer, ground level, Building 1. It is open daily from 6.30am to 9pm.
Service and prayer timetable
We offer the following services each week at the worship centre:
- Sunday 10.15am—Ecumenical service
- Tuesday 11.30am—Holy Communion
- Wednesday 12pm—Staff Prayer Praise
- Friday 11.30am—Holy Communion
- Friday 12.30pm—Juma (led by Islamic Religious Team).
All people are welcome at all/any service.
