Emergency Dental Care

at Browns Plains Community Health Centre

Metro South Health offers urgent dental care for eligible adults and children at our dental clinics throughout the region.

Dental issues that require urgent treatment include:

  • bleeding in the mouth that will not stop
  • swelling of the face from a tooth infection
  • recent injury to the teeth.

Making an appointment

If you need urgent dental treatment, simply call our Oral Health Hub:

1300 300 850 Cost of a local call. Calls from mobile phones may be charged at a higher rate. Please check with your telephone service provider.

Our friendly staff will help you make an appointment at a time and location convenient to you. You can choose from a number of dental clinics throughout the region.

The Oral Health Hub is open Monday to Friday between the following hours:

  • Monday 7.30 am - 4.00 pm
  • Tuesday 7.30 am - 4.00 pm
  • Wednesday 7.30 am - 4.00 pm
  • Thursday 7.30 am - 3.00 pm
  • Friday 7.30 am - 4.00 pm

After hours

If you require emergency treatment after hours, contact the emergency department at your local hospital or your private dentist.
