Cardiac Rehabilitation (Heart Recovery)

We provide comprehensive care to adults who have or are at risk of developing heart conditions.

Our service has cardiac nurse educators, dietitians, podiatrists, social workers, physiotherapists, psychologists and Indigenous health workers. We will work with you to:

  • improve your knowledge and understanding of heart disease
  • provide education, resources and advice and heart disease or heart related investigations and procedures
  • improve your self-confidence and enable you to self-manage your heart conditions
  • promote a better sense of health and independence across your whole life.

Anyone with cardiac risk factors or with a diagnosis of heart disease is welcome to attend. We also encourage partners to participate in our education sessions.

A referral to the service is required, there is no cost for the service.
