Mandatory training for researchers

Research integrity and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training is mandatory for all researchers involved in Metro South Health research.

Each member of a research team, including external researchers, must include valid training certificates as part of the site specific authorisation process. The certificates are valid if you've done accredited training in the last 3 years.

Research integrity training

You can access our online Research integrity training through MSHLearn. All 3 modules must be completed to receive a certificate.

Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training

You can access our online GCP training course through MSHLearn.

Face-to-face training is available through external training providers. Our preferred provider is PRAXIS - Introduction to GCP and refresher GCP training.

External researchers

External researchers who are not MSH employees can provide evidence, such as a certificate or training transcript from your employing Hospital and Health Service, university or institution or external provider.

External researchers who wish to complete our modules can email MSH-Research@health.qld.gov.au. Further information and links can be provided.
