The Clinical Research Facility (CRF) is a multi-use research centre designed to provide the special facilities and equipment needed by clinical researchers.
Metro South Health operates a number of research biorepositories—collections of biospecimens linked to relevant personal and health information.
The Cancer Collaborative Biobank (CCB) stores human biological biospecimens (samples) obtained with consent from patients diagnosed with a haematologic malignancy (blood cancers), for use in research.
Biostatistics support is available to all Metro South Health employees through QFAB Bioinformatics.
The Centres for Health Research can assist in turning an idea into something with tangible value and real impact by providing personalised advice and support at any stage, and connecting researchers with potential industry partners.
