Make contact with the Metro South Health Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) Office and Metro South Health Research Governance Office at the initiation and planning stage.
Discuss the level of risk with the Metro South HREC Office.
Identify any Conflicts of Interest (COI) and ensure they are managed in accordance with Metro South Health policies and procedures.
Plan all supporting documentation requirements (see information below).
Create a ‘master file’ to help you manage documentation (especially version control) pertaining to your research project.
