Closing a research project

Key messages

  • Research projects must be formally closed with the Metro South Health Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) and Metro South Health Research Governance Offices.
  • Researchers who are in receipt of a research grant are required to submit progress and final reports in accordance with each funding bodies’ requirements.
  • Publications are the responsibility of the researcher and approval must be sought by a relevant Metro South Health delegate before publishing.
