The Centres for Health Research can provide biostatistics advice to Princess Alexandra Hospital researchers.

A resident biostatistician is available for consultations four mornings a week (Tuesday to Friday) and one afternoon a week (Thursday), and can provide advice on:

  • experimental design
  • data mining
  • data presentation
  • statistical analysis
  • data integration

In addition, we hold a biostatistics seminar series twice annually.

The provider for this service is the Queensland Facility for Advanced Bioinformatics (QFAB), University of Queensland. Bookings and enquiries can be made directly on QFAB’s website and the biostatistician can be contacted via email

This service is funded by the Princess Alexandra Hospital Private Practice Trust Fund.
