Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services offers community, inpatient and acute care services which may be undertaken in the client’s home, in GP surgeries or in emergency departments.
Services are provided for all age groups across a range of programs from child and youth, to adult, to older persons, to specialist programs.

The 1300 MH CALL Service provides the point of access to the public mental health service for individuals with acute mental health illness. 1300 MH CALL service comprises of 24/7 Tele- Traige service and Emergency Department (Princess Alexandra Hospital, Redlands Hospital, and Logan Hospital).
Any individual that may be presenting with acute mental health signs and symptoms.
Following triage the team will determine the service response time and the most suitable pathway of care. This may include contact within 24 hours or notification of a scheduled appointment for assessment, and development of a management plan.
For individuals with an acute mental health crisis, service provision is prioritised in collaboration with emergency services as the need for service and urgency is established.
