QTMHC Suicide Prevention Resources Hub provides community members with resources and links to better find culturally appropriate support for themselves, their families or people in their community.

How to be a suicide prevention champion

You can contribute to suicide prevention by completing suicide prevention training, distributing suicide prevention resources to your community, referring and supporting community members to access help and participating in community activities that help to prevent suicide.

For urgent situations

Where there is immediate danger or risk of suicide:

  • Call Emergency on 000
  • Go to your nearest Crisis Support Space (CSS) located at a hospital; or
  • Go to a hospital emergency department

For non-urgent phone support (24 hours/7 days a week)
