Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) Suicide Prevention Project is a state-wide, two-year project supported by the Queensland Mental Health Commission and led by the Queensland Transcultural Mental Health Centre.
This project aims to upskill human services workers to recognize and support culturally diverse individuals who are experiencing suicidal ideation or behaviour. The project will also upskill culturally diverse media outlets on how to safely portray suicide in local media in collaboration with Mindframe.
