Prosthetics/Orthotics and Podiatry

Prosthetic/Orthotic Service:

Services are available primarily to residents of the Metro South Health catchment. 

Podiatry Service:

This service treats outpatients identified with ’acute complications’ primarily of the Metro south Health catchment.

Eligibility:

  • Current foot ulcer with or without infection
  • Charcot/Neuroarthropathic Joint
  • Dry Gangrene
  • Acute Ischaemia

High Risk Foot Clinic (Community) eligibility:

  • People with 2 of the following risk factors
    • Peripheral Neuropathy
    • Peripheral Arterial Disease
    • Significant Foot Deformity
