Parking
There are two privately operated car parks close to Princess Alexandra Hospital. There is no other on-site parking available on the campus. Brisbane City Council parking restrictions apply in all streets surrounding the hospital.
Drop-off zones
Princess Alexandra Hospital has two drop off/pick up zones for the main hospital building. These zones can be accessed via the main Ipswich Road entrance and the Cornwall Street entrance. These zones are subject to time restrictions.
Car parks
Point Parking multi-storey car park
The Point parking multi-storey car park is located on the hospital campus on the corner of Ipswich Road and O’Keefe Street. Entry to this car park is off Ipswich Road. There is a link-way to the main foyer of the hospital.
Note: This car park offer Concessional parking. Please enquire at the information desk (8am-4pm) to access the application.

First Parking multi-storey car park
The First Parking multi-storey car park is located opposite the hospital on Ipswich Road. Entry to this car park is off Wolseley Street. There is a link-way over Ipswich Road and then a short walk to the main foyer of the hospital. First Parking operates a flat rate pricing model.
Note: This car park does not offer Concessional parking.

Car parking concessions
Princess Alexandra Hospital provides a number of car parking concessions for patients, carers and visitors. Updated concession arrangements for those experiencing financial hardship, or who are required to attend the hospital frequently, have been developed.

- Ambulatory and Renal Transplant Service (ARTS)
- Persistent Pain Management Service
- Acquired Brain Injury Transitional Rehabilitation Service
To assist implementation of concession arrangements, Princess Alexandra Hospital has appointed a Car Parking Administration Officer to assist patients and families. They are located at the Information Desk, Ground Floor, Building 1. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm (excluding public holidays).
Disabled parking
Vehicles displaying a Disabled Parking Permit can park in designated disabled bays on Level 4 of the Point multi-storey car park. There is a link-way from this car park to the main foyer of the hospital. PA Parking have disabled bays on Level 2 and direct access to the hospital grounds is available on the overpass over Ipswich Road, also located on Level 2. Princess Alexandra Hospital staff can provide wheelchair assistance if required; please use the green courtesy phone at the entrance to the link-way on Level 5 to phone for assistance.
Bicycle facilities
There are bicycle parking facilities on the ground floor of the Point multi-storey car park located on the corner of Ipswich Road and O’Keefe Street. There is a link-way from this car park to the main foyer of the hospital. There is also a bicycle/pedestrian overpass across Ipswich Road.

- Staff only: Staff Bicycle Parking Facility (Basement Car Park) (which is under 24hr video surveillance and does not have access control). Read the Staff Bicycle Rules (PDF, 110.26 KB).
