The aim of this award is to recognise an outstanding publication by a PAH Nurse that has contributed to nursing knowledge through publication in a journal.
Authors wishing to be considered are required to complete the demographic details and submit a Word or PDF version (under 4MB) of your publication using the online nomination form below. The Nurse Practice Development Unit (NPDU) will be accountable to obtain nominations.
A panel consisting of the Nursing Director Education; interprofessional colleague; Nursing Director Research; and Clinical Nurse Consultant Evidence Based Practice will review and judge each publication. A set of criteria will be used to determine the quality of article and assist the panel to rank in order of quality. The following criteria are used by the panel to rank each publication:
The recommended Publication / Author/s will be endorsed by Nursing Director/Assistant Director of Nursing (ND/ADON) Committee Meeting.
Please note: Where the successful publication contains multiple nurses from PAH eligible for the prize, the education bursary will be shared equally amongst the recipients.
