Health alert: COVID-19

COVID-19 Alert: We are currently at GREEN traffic light level - there is no restriction for coming to hospital to receive healthcare. Full eligibility criteria

Adults

To be eligible for publicly funded oral health care, you must be a Queensland resident with a Medicare Card and have one or more of the following:

Eligibility is also extended to any dependents named on your card.

Special client groups

We also provides oral health services to particular client groups, including:

Children

Children are eligible for publicly funded oral health services if they are hold a Medicare Card and are one of the following:

  • aged 4 years through to Year 10
  • students in Years 11 or 12 who have a current Centrelink, Healthcare or Pension Card
  • aged 03 years whose parents have a current Pension Concession Card (Centrelink and Department of Veterans Affairs issued) or a Health Care Card
  • 2–17 year olds who are eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule
  • have no fixed address and residing in Queensland (homeless children)
  • under the guardianship of the Director General, Child Care Services, Department of Communities
  • foster children where their carer holds a foster child Health Care Card
  • children of skilled workers holding temporary visa 444
  • eligible patients under the Commonwealth cleft lip and cleft palate scheme.
