Eligibility

Metro South Health is committed to providing high quality, public oral health services in the Metro South area. Our team of highly-trained dental professionals provide both routine and emergency oral care with no out-of-pocket expenses to eligible adults and children.

We also provide oral health services to a number of particular client groups. Read about our full eligibility criteria.

Who is eligible?

Adults

Adults are eligible for free public dental care if they hold a Medicare Card and one of the following:

Children

Children are eligible for free dental care if they hold a Medicare Card and are one of the following:

  • aged 4 years through to Year 10
  • students in Years 11 or 12 who have a current Centrelink, Healthcare or Pension Card
  • aged 03 years whose parents have a current Centrelink, Healthcare or Pension Card.

We also provide free public dental care for children 217 years who are eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule.  

Others
