Vote now—help name the crane that's building our car park

9 November 2020

Primary school kids throughout the region have risen to the challenge of naming the 38.9-metre high crane that’s building Logan Hospital’s new multi-level car park.

Five finalists have been chosen from more than 45 entries received in the hospital’s ‘Name the Crane’ competition, which launched last month.

The Logan community and hospital staff are now invited to vote for their favourite name on our Facebook page.

The winning name will be displayed on the crane for the next year as construction work continues on the car park.

The finalists are:

  • Transformer (Kato, Year 5)
  • Sir Lift a Lot (Kai, Year 1)
  • Captain Hook (Hudson, Freyah and Xanthe, Prep, Year 2 and Year 4)
  • Zeus (Jazmin, Year 6)
  • Falcon (Toby, Prep)

Voting closes at midnight on Sunday 15 November.
