Twin fever means double the (trouble) love for new mums and dads

19 April 2018

There is never a dull - or quiet - moment in Redland Hospital’s Maternity Unit and last week was no exception with several families celebrating the birth of their twins.

Joan and Matt Jackson said Redland Hospital had been "excellent" along their journey which ended with the safe delivery of baby daughter Charlie and son Fynn only one minute apart on April 11.

Jess Barker and Jackson Bridges were also thrilled to welcome their pink bundles of joy Sophie and Charlotte on April 16.

"We found out at our second scan that we were having twins which was a shock after being told at our first scan there was only one baby."
