QEII Hospital Antimicrobial Stewardship Program is fighting the good fight to stop microbial resistance.

Antibiotics are essential to deliver safe and effective healthcare, but misuse and overuse can cause them to lose potency and unwittingly create antibiotic-resistant infections.

These heroes are saving the world one staff education session, and one specialist consultation at a time on the judicial use of antibiotics as part of their year-round mission to increase #antimicrobialawareness.
