Rhonda's road to Volunteer of the Year

10 June 2024

Logan Hospital has been blessed with Rhonda Eagle’s joyful spirit for the past 22 years, her dedication resulting in her being named our inaugural Volunteer of the Year.

Rhonda joined the ‘vollies’ two decades ago after retiring from the workforce but she wasn't quite ready to give up work.

She said after joining as a Ward Nanna, she went on to enjoy many other volunteer roles across the hospital including multiple stints on meet and greet, running the kiosk (now Fresh+) and most recently completing administrative tasks.

“I love all the jobs I undertake and if I can help, I am happy,” Rhonda said.

“I will continue to work within the hospital as long as my health doesn’t fail me.”

Congratulations Rhonda!
