Redlands RSL Spreads joy on Lamb Ward

22 December 2023

This holiday season, the Redlands RSL has touched our hearts with their extraordinary act of kindness! Their generous donation of Christmas gifts for children receiving care in Redland Hospital's Lamb Ward and the Paediatric Emergency Department.

Redland RSL General Manager Peter Harrison thanked the community for their support and donating to the Christmas toy drive.

"At Redlands RSL, our commitment to the community runs deep, and especially during the festive season,” he said.

“We love to bring joy and contribute to the well-being of the young ones in Lamb Ward, and we hope these gifts bring smiles to the children in hospital over the festive season.”

Women's and Children's Nurse Unit Manager Aleria Harrold said the thoughtful donation from Redlands RSL was a heart-warming gesture.

“In times of illness, these gifts bring not just joy, but a sense of community and support, providing comfort and cheer to the young patients of Lamb Ward and the Emergency Department,” she said.

Thank you, Redlands RSL, for spreading the magic of Christmas and making a positive difference in the lives of our little patients!
