Play and Say helps families through premmie journey

11 April 2018

Metro South Health has partnered with The Benevolent Society to host a Premmie Play and Say consultation event recently.

The forum provided an opportunity for parents of premature babies to have their say about their experience with premature birth, the supports offered in the Logan Hospital Special Care Nursery, the connections with community support services and their personal journey with parenting a premmie baby.

The event was held at the Benevolent Society’s Browns Plains Early Years Centre, the only dedicated Young Parents Support Group and Premmie Play and Learn Group in the area seeking to improve outcomes for premature children and their families.
