Meet Marina Trivunovic... Logan Hospital's new Community Advisor Program Coordinator

7 August 2019

Based at the St John Coordinator office, Logan Hospital’s new Community Advisor Program Coordinator Marina Trivunovic is gathering her volunteer wayfinding army who will provide crucial support to patients and staff as construction begins on expansion projects across the facility.

Marina said the volunteers would be the front-line liaison point for all patients and visitors and would assist in ensuring services delivered at Logan Hospital remained person centred.

She said the launch of the Community Advisor Program was helping reach further into the community by communicating information about the developments at Logan Hospital to support wayfinding in and around the hospital during construction.

“Staff will be able to provide  tasks for volunteers to do and once construction begins morning huddles will help disperse the volunteers to the greatest areas of need,” Marina said.

“We will also have volunteers out in the community talking to residents about what is happening at Logan Hospital and of course we are always looking for more volunteers to apply.

“We are all so excited for what’s to come.”
