14 October 2022

Congratulations to the Logan Hospital Food Services team on the successful opening of stage 1 of the expanded kitchen this week.

Manager of Food Services Dudley Seneviratne said his team had been working tirelessly for months to plan the opening in collaboration with the Expansion Project team.

“We are so proud of our Food Services family for their dedication to our patients and for ensuring there was no interruption to service delivery,” he said.

Stage 1 of the kitchen expansion includes a new plating line, trolley storage, beverage station, cleaner’s store room and a temporary cold kitchen.

The project now moves to stage 2 – building a new cold kitchen and offices.
