Is your practice CDA (Clinical Document Architecture) ready?

17 September 2019

Queensland Health sends discharge summaries to practices by post, fax and electronically into the practice software. We are encouraging practices to sign up for electronic distribution of reports for a faster and more efficient approach to patient care.

Discharge summaries can now be presented in an easier to read and more structured format which now includes Pathology and Radiology results. The new format is called Clinical Document Architecture (CDA). Please see the CDA Flyer attached.

To sign up for CDA, please email EDSTV-Corro@health.qld.gov.au with your practice software details.
