Important - Please include positive National Bowel Cancer Screening Programs reports with all referrals

To assist in the appropriate triaging of your patients NBCSP referral, please include the NBCSP FOBT positive results letter. Without this report, the triaging consultant is unable to process referrals and a revised referral letter will be sent back to you requesting this information.

To help avoid unnecessary delays, please provide the Essential referral information as per the MSH Refer Your Patient NBCSP Essential Referral information 

Below is a list of Essential Referral Information required when referring to this program:

  •  NBCSP pathology report - showing positive FOBT result
  •  NSCSP ID number
  •  Patient and family history of bowel cancer
  •  Medical and surgical history
  •  Current medications (if relevant)
