Are you curious to hear first-hand from the participants of the first Futures Lab Lean Startup (LSU) program and want to learn more about their achievements? Watch the video here.

Lean Startup Cycle one stats:

Six teams worked on six ideas:

  1. Complex Discharge Support
  2. Partnering with Community Agencies
  3. Virtual Hospital Wards
  4. Integrated Care
  5. Prisoner Health
  6. Community Falls Connecting Care

Eighteen Metro South Health staff members, 7 staff members from partner organisations and 5 consumers completed a 9 week LSU program.

The teams conducted an incredible 288 client interviews and engaged with 18 different organisations and 31 consumers to validate their problems and test their solutions.

Over 100 people attended the inaugural Futures Lab network and professional development event.

Partnership resource contributions were provided from Queensland Ambulance Service, Multicap, Brisbane South Primary Health Network and West Moreton Prison Health Service.

An innovation network with over 15,000 external individuals and organisations was established.

What happens now?

Each of the six teams will soon pitch their findings and recommendations to an Investment Committee. If you'd like to find out more about the outcomes of the program or how to get involved in upcoming programs, please check the website for updates or contact The Futures Lab team.
