First look at flash facade

8 May 2023

A new landmark is emerging on the Meadowbrook skyline as the scaffolding comes down on our Logan Hospital Building 3 vertical expansion.

The façade of the building will slowly be revealed over the coming months with the construction having reached its top level and scaffolding ready to be removed.

Fit-out of the new wards and departments is now well underway, with the first new services – on the ground floor of the building – to go live in the coming months.

The first to open in May will be Healthcare Technology/Central Clinical Equipment Service, Biomedical Technology Services, and the Emergency Department’s new administration and store areas.

These will be closely followed in June by the new Transit Care Hub, Acute Care@Home, and a temporary home for the Respiratory Laboratory.
