Do you know about Clinical Document Architecture (CDA) ?

26 July 2019

Discharge summaries can now be presented in an easier to read and more structured format which now includes Pathology and Radiology results as shown below. The new format is called Clinical Document Architecture (CDA).

Queensland Health sends discharge summaries to practices by post, fax and electronically into the practice software. We are encouraging practices to sign up for electronic distribution of reports for a faster and more efficient approach to patient care.

To view the CDA Flyer, please click on the link to the right.

To sign up for CDA, please email EDSTV-Corro@health.qld.gov.au with your practice software details.
