"D" boys get to growing their mo's

What do you get when you combine two Darrens with a Duncan?

Movember 2018 - that’s what!

The Logan Bayside Nursing Director boys have committed to putting down their razors for the month of November in an attempt to grow their mo’s, all in aid of helping men tackle prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.

With men’s health in crisis, the Logan Hospital lads said it’s time more men talked about and addressed health issues facing them every day.
Men experience worse longer-term health than women and die on average six years earlier.

Prostate cancer rates will double in the next 15 years, testicular cancer rates have already doubled in the last 50 and three quarters of suicides are men. Poor mental health leads to half a million men taking their own life every year. That’s one every minute.

So it’s time to start talking and get involved.
