Australia's Biggest Morning Tea a personal mission for Vanessa

13 June 2018

After several tragic family losses, Environmental Services general services assistant Vanessa Job decided she wanted to do something to make a difference.

Vanessa said what started as a morning tea with friends turned large scale this year when she decided to bring her annual Cancer Council fund-raising effort to work.

“I lost both my in-laws to cancer within nine months of each other and my grandmother died from cancer when I was 16,” she said.

“I normally hold a morning tea with friends at home but I decided this time to try it at work and the response was wonderful.”
