MSAMHS Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) and Queensland Police Service (QPS) Co-responder Evaluation.

In 2019, the MSAMHS, QAS and QPS co-responder program was implemented in the Metro South region. In this flagship model, mental health clinicians worked alongside QAS or QPS officers to provide assessment, treatment and care, tailored to the needs of the consumer. There was a strong focus on reducing the number of people being transported to the emergency department. This report presents the quantitative and qualitative findings of the evaluation of this model.
