Research and Learning Network

A critical goal for Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services is to underpin clinical care with research and learning. The concept of a Research and Learning Network that better aligns research and learning is a key strategy to increase the research and learning capability and capacity of the MSAMHS workforce.

The Research and Learning Network provides support in research and learning initiatives to ensure MSAMHS is well positioned to succeed in its research and learning initiatives in the future.

It also supports the development and implementation of interdisciplinary and cross service learning initiatives. Our educators have expertise in delivery of programs including supervision; Mental Health First Aid and safety reliability implementation.

Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services has created an evidence-informed framework to strengthen their workforce.

Mental Health First Aid

Mental Health First Aid courses provides your workforce with the skills to understand mental illnesses, support timely intervention and save lives.

Research

Research, learning and evaluation have been fundamental to improving clinical outcomes for the community we serve as well as broadening the growth and knowledge base of our staff.
