Ministerial Infrastructure Designation amendment

8-48 and part of 50 Armstrong Road, Meadowbrook (some adjoining road reserve on Armstrong Road is also included)

Logan Hospital is undertaking a major expansion project over the coming years, which will deliver enhanced clinical services and an improved environment for staff, patients and visitors.

To facilitate the expansion, Metro South Hospital and Health Services has proposed an amendment to the hospital’s existing infrastructure designation.

The amendment seeks to:

  • Add new land to the area of the designation;
  • Provide new access to the maternity unit; and
  • Provide a revised location for the proposed multi-storey carpark.

The proposal (AID-1019-0377) has been made as a Ministerial Infrastructure Designation under the Planning Act 2016.
