Our dedicated team of Medical Imaging staff includes radiologists, radiology registrars, medicalinterns, radiographers, sonographers, nurses, administration officers, medical imaging assistants and environmental services staff.

Individuals seeking employment as a radiographer in Queensland must hold current registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia. Individuals working as a radiographer in Queensland are also required to hold a current radiation safety license.
Sonographers must maintain a listing on the Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR). Sonographers only performing ultrasound duties do not need to be registered with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia.
International radiographers must have completed a qualification listed on the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia ‘Equivalent Programs of Study’ list in order to be eligible for registration and practise in Queensland.
Radiographers whose qualification does not appear on this list must have international qualifications assessed for accreditation by the Australian Institute of Radiography (AIR).
Internationally qualified sonographers must have their qualifications and experience assessed by the Australian Institute of Radiography (AIR) before applying for entry onto the Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
