The Research Advisory Committee and The Future Hospital Program are delighted to invite you to the Logan and Beaudesert Hospitals' Research & Innovation Symposium to be held on Monday 1st April 2019 at Logan Hospital.

Logan Hospital is a major health centre for one of the fastest growing and most challenging regions in the state. Our goal as health care professionals is to contribute to improving health outcomes and the well-being of the Logan community by providing excellence in healthcare. The Logan and Beaudesert Hospitals support locally led, world standard research and innovative practice to meet our community’s current and future healthcare challenges.

The theme of this year’s symposium is ‘Igniting the Future’. The Logan and Beaudesert Hospitals' Research & Innovation Symposium aims to inspire our future researchers and innovators by celebrating the achievements of our current individuals and teams.

The Logan and Beaudesert Hospitals' Research & Innovation Symposium 2019 will feature presentations, poster displays and networking opportunities and provide an opportunity for our external stakeholders, university and the wider health community to partner with us and celebrate our achievements.

  • Logan and Beaudesert Hospitals' Research & Innovation Symposium - Monday 1st April 2019
  • Logan Hospital Medical Common Room - 8.30am to 4.30pm (registrations and barista coffee opens 7.30am).
  • Registrations NOW CLOSED! You are still welcome to attend the presentations and poster exhibit on the day; however, catering is now fully booked.
  • Keynote speakers: Professor Ian Frazer, Professor Jeffrey Lipman and Associate Professor Andrew Mallett.
  • Presentations and poster exhibition. Barista coffee, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea catering.
