Visas

Metro South Hospital and Health Service has a dedicated Visa Management Unit to assist in providing clear and consistent advice to staff and candidates seeking information regarding Employer sponsorship aligned with the HR B46 Citizenship, Residency, Visas and Immigration Policy and assistance in determining which visas are aligned with work rights and conditions.

Visa assistance and guidance is provided with the transition of visa applications aligned with Department of Home Affairs (DoHA) Immigration and citizenship.

Candidate support

The Candidate Support Officer's role is to source information for intrastate, interstate and overseas candidates assisting with their relocation to Brisbane to commencement with Metro South Health.

The focus of the role is to provide a single point of contact to link new staff with information to local facilities, services, and assisting with their relocation. Connect new employees with accommodation, childcare/ schooling, transport and educational facilities
You may be eligible for assistance upon referral from Medical Recruitment and direct Line Managers. For relocation assistance, please contact your Line Manager or Medical Recruitment team.

Relocation support

Eligible appointments may be able to seek assistance for transfer and appointment expenses. 
Please discuss your eligibility with your Line Manager or the Medical Employment Unit for referral to the Candidate Support Officer.
