Paediatrics

Graduates working in the children’s inpatient unit will experience a wide range of clinical specialities such as medical, surgical, oncology, metabolic and palliative care.

Our paediatric patients are a vulnerable and diverse group and require a high level of physical and psychological care from their nurses.

We believe in creating an optimal learning environment for our new graduates, by integrating simulated learning environments, and top level clinical care.

An important element of practice on the paediatric units is the creation of a strong team environment by providing quality training opportunities and support during the graduate year.

We value graduates and are dedicated to improving health care, through the creation of inspirational next generation nursing leaders.

If you want to join our team to begin your journey to becoming a confident and skilled registered nurse, preference a paediatric graduate program at Metro South Health.
