Redland-Wynnum implemented waste management initiatives that were creative, built enthusiasm and engendered good waste management practises across the facilities.
This included the development of waste display boards strategically positioned across wards, tailored waste awareness sessions for staff and undertook marketing and promotion activities to promote the benefits of effective waste management.
The introduction of the waste management initiative was to reduce costs, be environmentally conscious and meet our legislative requirements.

Use of smaller bins in clinical areas to reduce OHS risk.
