Metro South Health will conduct a review of all research tissue banks, tumour banks and biobanks located on PAH campus. The review will consider governance and future operation requirements of all Metro South Health research biorepositories and, will produce a formal governance framework and strategy for ongoing support requirements by March 2017. This project will also transition the Cancer Collaborative Biobank to Metro South Health on 1 November, 2016. Following the completion of an Audit Report, consideration will be given to the potential transfer of the MaCH R Tumour Biobank, to Metro South Health, on or before 30 June, 2018.
