Established in 2013, the Inter-professional Leadership Group started as a collaboration between Nursing and Allied Health Services has now grown to include all professional streams in Metro South Health. The aim of the collaboration is to reduce duplication, increase efficiency and access for staff to leadership development resources.
The Inter-Professional Leadership Group aims to develop three leadership pathways. These pathways are:
Level 1 – Introduction to Leadership, aimed at new and emerging leaders
Level 2 – Embedding Leadership Principles, aimed at mid-level leaders
Level 3 – Continuing Professional Development, aimed at senior and executive level leaders.

The overarching aim of the Inter-professional Leadership Group is to promote inter-disciplinary collaboration to deliver an integrated leadership development model.
