Nurses at Princess Alexandra Hospital are committed to achieving excellence in nursing and focus on quality performance outcomes to improve patient care. One way Nursing Services endeavours to recognise extraordinary performance is through the Annual International Nurses Day Awards. This is an opportunity for staff to gain recognition for their achievement throughout the year.

Eligibility
The Nursing Services Reward and Recognition Plan is specific to all units, divisions and work areas that exist within the

Bursaries
A $1,000 Education Bursary will be provided for the following awards:
- PAH Nurse of the Year
- PAH Team of the Year
- Magnet Champion of the Year
A $500 Education Bursary will be provided for the following award:
- The Jan Kitchener Living Our Values Everyday (LOVE).
Please note: Where there is more than one recipient for an award, the bursary will be equally shared amongst the recipients. Bursaries will need to be used within 12 months of issue.
