Arriving at hospital
- For general access and car parking, use the main entrance on Armstrong Road.
- For the emergency department, use the entrances on Loganlea Road or Armstrong Road.
- Couriers should use the Armstrong Road entrance and then go to the supply department.
Pick up and drop off
- We have 2 drop off and pick up areas outside the main hospital building. You can only park here for a few minutes.
Parking

Parking at Logan Hospital is available at our multi level car park, also known as P1.
You can access P1 at the main entrance to the hospital off Armstrong Road.
To enter the car park, take a ticket and go through the boom gate.
Take note of the level you've parked on so you can easily find your way back.
There are lifts on each level.
The linkway to the main hospital buildings is on level 3.
At the end of the linkway, turn right for the main reception in Building 1 or turn left for the emergency department in Building 3.
Paying for parking
It's free to drop off and pick up people at the hospital in the designated drop off zones.
From 15 minutes to 1 hour is $3. The most you'll pay for a full day is $13.
Remember to pay for your parking before you go back to your car.
You can find pay stations in the car park and in the main hospital buildings.
Payment can be made by cash, credit or debit card.
Parking concessions
Our concession program offers discounted parking for eligible patients and carers.
You may be eligible for a concession if you need to attend the hospital frequently, you need to stay in hospital for more than 14 days, you are receiving an Age Pension or Carer Payment, or in cases of financial hardship and other special considerations.
To find out if you can claim the parking concession rate, please speak with your ward or department's receptionist, or visit our team at the hospital's main reception.

Car park
We have a multi-level car park called P1 near the main hospital building on Armstrong Road. A raised walkway on the third level goes to the main hospital buildings. Vehicles up to 2.2 metres can use the car park.
Street parking
There's also street parking around the hospital.
Accessible parking
We have accessible parking in our multi-level car park. You must display an Australian or international disability parking permit to park here.

How to pay
You can pay for parking using the pay stations in the car park, outside the Fresh+ Cafe in Building 1 or at the emergency department.
You can pay by cash or credit card. You can also use your credit card to pay at the boom gate as you leave the car park.
Concessional parking
You may be eligible for concessional parking if you're:
- going to hospital at least twice a week for more than 2 weeks in a row
- in hospital for 14 days or more in a row
- over 65 and get an Age Pension
- getting a Disability Support Pension
- caring for a patient and get a Carer Payment
- dealing with financial problems or have special needs.
Applying for concessional parking
Fill in the Concessional Parking Application Form [PDF 81.2 KB] and take it to the Main Reception desk in Building 1. They're open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.
If you're eligible for a discount, we'll sign your form and validate your parking ticket.
Paying for concessional parking
Bring your approved form and parking ticket to reception every time you visit the hospital. We'll validate your ticket so you pay the discounted rate when you leave.
You can get your ticket validated at reception desks in:
- Building 1
- outpatient department in Building 1 and Building 2
- allied health outpatient department in Building 1
- emergency department.
You can also get your ticket validated at our car park office on the ground level of our multi-level car park.
Transit Care Hub
When it's time to go home, we'll move you to our Transit Care Hub where you can wait for your discharge medicines and be picked up.
We have free short-term parking outside the Transit Care Hub in P2, and you can park here for up to 30 minutes.
If you need to park longer, there's a fee. If you're running late, ask the person picking you up to call us on 07 3299 9159.
