Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) haematology scientist Paul Zerafa will have his knee-length dreadlocks shaved in support of the Leukaemia Foundation World’s Greatest Shave.
Being at the frontline of cancer diagnosis, Paul hoped the event would raise money for blood cancer research.
Paul has already received an outpouring of support from fellow scientists and doctors at PAH but hopes to reach more people by shaving his dreads in the hospital’s Main Foyer on Friday 17 March from 10.30am to 11.30am.
All patients, visitors and staff are invited to attend or participate in the event. Donations can also be made directly to Paul’s Leukaemia Foundation page.
