GP Gynaecology Education Day - Logan/Beaudesert/Redland

The Metro South GP Maternity Shared Care Team are hosting a GP Gynaecology education seminar on 2 March 2024.

This practical education seminar is tailored for practitioners that provide gynaecological care to women within the Logan, Beaudesert, and Redland catchments. It is recognised that the GP plays an integral role in primary health care and is best placed to support women through their healthcare journey. 

Topics include

  • MS2 Step / TOP Pathways
  • Heavy Menstrual Bleeding 
  • Pelvic Pain 
  • Pelvic Floor Prolapse 
  • Incontinence – Urinary 
  • Cervical Screening Test Management 

Practical afternoon session

  • Speculum Examination 
  • Mirena / Kyleena Insertion 
  • Implanon Insertion 
  • Pipelle Biopsy Demonstration 

Morning Tea, Lunch, and Afternoon Tea will be provided.

Note: This activity can be self-recorded with your CPD Home for Educational activity hours and Reviewing Performance hours (suggested hours for each category will be discussed on the day). 

This session is open to all general practitioners in the MSHHS catchment.
