Dr Greg Kyle

Dr Greg Kyle is a clinical pharmacist who is passionate about pharmacist professional services, expanding scope of practice and utilizing the pharmacist workforce to its full potential.  He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy, Master of Clinical Pharmacy and PhD.  Greg has extensive pharmacy experience in pharmacy practice spread across military pharmacy, hospital practice, consumer and professional drug information, community pharmacy ownership, consultant pharmacy and academia, including Head of Pharmacy at the University of Canberra and QUT. Greg’s research interests lie in pharmacy professional services, extending scope of practice, integrating the healthcare team, quality use of medicines and pharmacoepidemiology.

Greg has supervised over 20 postgraduate students and published 1 book, 1 book chapter, 3 commissioned reports and 67 peer reviewed journal articles. Greg currently works as the Workforce Development Officer – Research (Allied Health) within CFAHR and brings his extensive experience to mentor and assist allied health researchers throughout the research process.  He enjoys engaging with researchers from all disciplines at any stage of their research journey to learn about other professions as he provides research support. Greg holds Adjunct Professor titles at the University of Canberra, University of New England and QUT.

Research interest and expertise: quality use of medicines, extending scope of practice, integrating the healthcare team.
