at Addiction and Mental Health Services

This Deafness and Mental Health statewide consultation service strives to ensure that appropriate and accessible mental health care is provided to people in Queensland who are Deaf or who have a hearing loss via face to face consultation or video conference.

The service offers an extensive set of resources and training to assist mental health professionals and other service providers to provide appropriate, accessible and equitable care to this group.

Educational presentations on issues related to mental health are also provided to people who are Deaf or who have severe to profound hearing loss.
