Health alert: Novel coronavirus (COVID-19)

Visitors are now able to attend our facilities in Metro South Health. Please refer to the visiting restrictions for more information.

Fever clinic locations

If you are concerned you may have contracted COVID-19 or have any of the following symptoms, no matter how mild, you should get tested:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Sore throat
  • Shortness of breath
  • Runny nose
  • Fatigue
  • Diarrhoea
  • Vomiting or nausea
  • Loss of smell and/or taste.

Where to get tested

If you have any symptoms or are concerned about your exposure to COVID-19, you can visit one of the fever clinics in Metro South listed below.

Please remember when attending a fever clinic to practice social distancing by remaining 1.5m from other people and wash your hands regularly. You must isolate until you are informed of your test results.

What to bring with you

Please have your identification and Medicare card with you (if you have one), as this will ensure you are tested as soon as possible.

Online bookings

The PA Hospital Community Screening Clinic, Browns Plains Community Screening Clinic and Redland Hospital Screening Clinic are now accepting online bookings for COVID-19 test appointments. To book go to the COVID-19 Booking Services Portal. If this is your first time booking online, select "Don't have an account? Sign up". Complete the form and a password will be sent to your email so you can log in. From there you will be asked some questions and can choose a 30-minute timeslot for your appointment.

If other people from your home need to be tested as well, you can make a group booking. Patients unable to book online will still be offered walk-in appointments.
