Consumer and community engagement

Consumer and community engagement means building meaningful connections between government, communities and citizens. Metro South Health is committed to empowering our local community with a greater say over their local health services.

Engagement extends beyond informing the public, to enabling the public to have access to the decision making process.  It can cover a wide variety of interactions including:

  • information sharing
  • community consultation
  • participation in decision making.
